My name is Jason Dochney, and I love golf!  

 

The game of golf has provided me with many opportunities throughout my life, and I enjoy sharing these accomplishments with players of all abilities.  

 

I am excited to announce that APA Golf has formed a new and exciting partnership with Sycamore Valley Driving Range in Independence, KS. I look forward to supporting a welcoming environment where new and existing players can learn.

About Jason Dochney and APA Golf: 

 

PGA of America Member Professional: Elected in 1999 and 2022. Jason Dochney earned the 1990 Mark Kizziar PGA Junior Golf Schools scholarship designed for aspiring high school players seeking to sharpen their current skills within the game and credits this early learning opportunity as the pathway to today's involvement in golf.  

 

Jason played competitive high school golf in Bartlesville, OK, before attending Coffeyville Community College, aiding the Coffeyville Red Raven golf team to realize team success and two individual stroke play victories within the Jayhawk Community College Conference.  

 

Jason Dochney is also a Member of PGA LEAD Cohort VIII and the founder of APA Golf (a professional golf brand and philosophy for service focused on optimizing predictability within the business and game of golf).  ​

Time Commitment:

Session times average 45 minutes from start to finish and will not exceed 60 minutes. Availability appears in real-time within the APA Golf scheduling calendar.

Scheduling Follow-Up Sessions:

Students who report the highest returns following practice sessions with APA Golf have scheduled and dedicated personal practice time between each focused 1:1 session. Please consider scheduling any follow-up sessions 2-4 days after the prior 1:1 session and focus on realizing individual progress each day in between.  

 

Options For Advanced Players: 

These sessions are strategically scheduled and implemented to help good players advance to the next level, using shared experiences from prior competitive play to help relate effective playing strategies to players of all ages.  

 

Session Cancellations:

At APA Golf, we understand schedules can change! Please cancel scheduled sessions 24 hours in advance to avoid a session cancellation fee of $10.00.
